CISA’s legacy tournament returns to Crawford’s Fields with a trip to Saskatoon 2027 at stake
The Calgary Industrial Softball Association is proud to announce the return of the Williams Cup Men’s Fastpitch Tournament, coming to Crawford’s Fields September 11-17, 2026 as an official International Softball Congress qualifier.
Following the success of the inaugural tournament in 2025, the Williams Cup will once again bring competitive men’s fastpitch teams together for a weekend of high-level pitching, timely hitting and championship softball in the heart of Calgary.
Built on Legacy
The Williams Cup was established in honour of longtime CISA player Jesse Williams, who was recognized during the inaugural tournament as the association’s oldest active player. The tournament celebrates Williams’ remarkable dedication to the game while recognizing the players, volunteers and supporters who have helped keep men’s fastpitch alive and thriving in Calgary.
More than another tournament on the schedule, the Williams Cup represents the history of CISA and the generations of athletes who have stepped onto the diamonds at Crawford’s Fields.
It is a weekend built on legacy—and played for the future of the game.
The Road to Saskatoon Runs Through Calgary
The stakes will be even higher for this year as the Williams Cup serves as an ISC qualifier.
Teams will be competing for tournament honours and an opportunity to advance toward the 2027 ISC World Tournament, scheduled for August 14–21, 2027, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The ISC World Tournament brings together premier men’s fastpitch teams and athletes from across Canada, the United States and around the world.
With a place on the international stage within reach, fans can expect hard-throwing pitchers, outstanding defensive plays, big swings and tightly contested games from the opening pitch through the championship final.
